Getting ready to go back to school? We can all agree that last school year was not something any of us could have planned for right?

Even though the previous school year did not go as planned many school districts are beginning to come up with their plans for a smooth reopening for students. Regardless if your children will be heading back to their classroom or will be doing distance education we can all agree that school supplies are always needed.

I remember always enjoying back to school shopping with not only new clothes but more importantly those “ new supplies”! Many store shelves are beginning to fill up on the school or office supplies we can all use!

I did some research and came up with some great lists that I have put together!

This site has lists broke down into grade levels. Of course all items are not a neccessity, just some great ideas!

Dollartree.com

Who doesn’t love Dollar Treee? This store has not only back to school supplies but a great selection of organizing items that will keep all these supplies easy to find.
Another great thing with dollar tree you can order online and there is FREE pickup at their stores. What could be easier?
Check out their flyer for all the items adverstised that are constantly > arriving to their stores! < . Why not go together with a couple other parents and order what you all need?

Even if you don’t have students in your household this is a great time to stock up on any office supply (think computer printer paper) or any of the other office supplies you may need!
With so many more people working from home offices supplies will be necessary. For those on a budget this is by far the best time to buy with prices the lowest this time of year.
If you have the room why not stock up? After all items like pens, paper and notebooks can be stored easily.

If you live in a rural area Dollar General is another good place to stop and check out their shelves. Most people have one of these stores near them. With weekly ads along with online coupons, this can be a great stop as well for your budget.

Of course, a post wouldn’t be complete without a mention of Amazon! The online store has made it so easy to shop and get things delivered right to your door. This year they have school supplies bundles which basically have all the supplies your student might need <check them out here>
But did you know they have a program that will earn your non profit money on purchases? It is called Amazon smile program and there are hundreds of organizations to choose from. Here is an article explaining how the program works with Amazon. Click here
Many local stores as well as nonprofits have signed up for this feature. Why not check and see if your favorite organization or school is listed. After all, every little bit helps!
So as the school year approaches this year different than any year we have ever seen you can still have your student be organized and prepared for however, their learning will be.
